What kind of car? A 1997 Dodge Neon.

3. First time you scrapbooked:April, 2001

When you look at your page do you love it?  Um, no. ROFL!

4. First time you went on a date: 13, in 8th grade.

Where did you go and with who? I went to the ice skating rink on a double date with another couple.

5. First time you fell in love:Age 15

How did you know?I went weak in the knees when he kissed me, literally.

6. First time you cooked for someone: Oh geez, um, I think it was when I was in 8th grade and I cooked a meal with a friend of mine and our boyfriends.

Was it yummy? What did you make? I have no clue...I can't even remember!

7. First time you got on a plane:When I was 12

Where did you go? Were you scared? England, and nope, I loved it! Not only was I going to England, but I was on a plane, just so cool!

8. First time you shaved your legs: 10 I think

Did you cut yourself? Probably!

9. First time you put one make up: Minus ballet recitals when I was a kid, I think I was 12.

Looking back how did you do? Did you look good or like a clown? No, my mother would have never allowed that!

10. First time you moved out of your home: When I was 18

Was it an apartment, house, etc? Dorm room, baby!

Ok, now let me see what ladies are in trouble...

Ten things I like about myself...

Ok, this is a challenge from Sophia over at 2peas. So here we go, Ten Things I like about myself.

1.My friends, well, my close friends that is. They are here for me, and I love that I was able to pick such great friends to be my closest confidentes!

2.My marriage. I love the fact that I am married to a man who supports me. That shows something about me, that I was able to overlook the bad guys in my life and pick the right one for me.

3.My cooking. When I really cook, and I do mean REALLY COOK, I come up with some pretty fantastic dishes. But it takes a lot for me to get in that mood, but when I do, watch out!

4.The way that I listen. I think that I listen to others very well. At least the people close to me think that I do.

5.I am easy to move across the country. Most women would have fought a bit more, leaving everything they have ever known. But nope, I fought for a day, then just said, let's do it! And, so far, I am loving it!

6.My generiosty. Some would say I am tooooo generous. But I believe that I am just helping others. And I like to do it. Sometimes this does get me into trouble, as I can be generous to the wrong people and then I get used. But I have to just shove that away, and believe that most people are good.

7.I type well, and fast. Ok, I know that is a weird one, but I am able to IM with others rather fast! ROFL!

8.My craft. I love to scrapbook, and I don't really care that I am not pub'ed all that much. In my mind and my life, I know that I am good enough for ME. And that is what is most important!

9.My memory. Though when I am pregnant, I can't remember a thing!

10.That, at one point, I was smart. And hopefully I can go back to school once everything settles down with the whole moving thing.

Thanks, Sophia!!! This was HARD!

Ok, I think I may go crazy....

This is what my schedule looks like until I am able to get the kids into their respective schools:

7:30-up, making breakfast for the kids, first cup of coffee

8:00-take the kids for a walk, get my morning exercise (now I sound like a dog...rofl)

9:00-1:00-Start the daily exercises with the kids...this takes me till 1pm, following their school schedule right to the 't', trying to keep them from regressing to much

1:00-Freeplay for the kids, break, FINALLY for mom...rofl!

2:00-Take the kids to the pool

3:00-Alex down for a nap, Brendan has some free time to chill, Mom has some free time (well, kinda...rofl)

4:00-Paul home! WOOHOO! I start to clean the house from my busy day

5:00-Start dinner

6:00-Eat dinner

6:30-Clean up after dinner, Paul takes the kids to the pool or outside to play to give mom some free time (meaning, if I am lucky, I can chat with someone HUMAN on the phone, and clean while doing so, gotta love this new life...ugh)

7:30-Kids and Paul back from outside, bath, reading bedtime story

8:00-Kids down for Bed

8:03-Kids down for bed yet again

8:05-Yep, kids down for bed YET again, which goes on for the next hour, AT LEAST

9:00-Mom finally gets her BIGGER break of the day...I feel like I want to pass out...ugh...but nope, I finish the cleaning, try to get on the puter, while trying to relax and watch some tv at the same time.

11:00-2:00- at some point in that time I go to bed

OK, after reading this, I feel like I may just pass out. Man, I hope we get something back from the state this week about the kids! Now that Paul will be gone all day, and since he has been gone, I have been feeling just a TAD overwhelmed! Wonder why! ROFL!

*Yes, I know that some people could handle this kind of schedule, Mother Teresa, the Pope, possibly the president (man, who am I kidding, he couldn't...that's why he has his wife). But me, personally, I am going I N S A N E!*

Now, before any of you think, why doesn't she have her kids in school? Lemme tell ya, not so easy when they were diagnosed in NY with Aspergers Syndrome, a type of autism-Brendan, or PDD, another type of autims-Alex. They have to be rediagnosed here...oh so much fun, then we find out if we can even get into a school or have teachers. So until then, THAT is my schedule. I think I need a vacation. And boy, I am going to miss PAUL!!!!

So I was a little busy...

Scrapping that is! I have never really shared my layouts before, but, hey, why not!!!

Here is my first one:

Dont_eat_the_yellow_snow Don't Eat the Yellow Snow:

This was for a scraplift challenge over at 2peas. I scraplifted Addicted 2 Supplies. Just a nice simple layout, giving the affect that I wanted...a wonderful bit of advice to my son..rofl!

Layout #2: My Man

My_man_1 This was for the same challenge, but a different person. For this scraplift, I lifted Mindy. Both were so much fun to do! Can't wait to do more!

Layout #3:

My Sweet Guy

My_sweet_guy_1 Just a layout about my

lil guy! Gotta love him!

Layout #4:

Sledding

Sledding I had so much fun with this layout! I used a mask for the first time, and just played! I am loving just playing!

Layout #5:

Truly A Beach Boy

Truly_a_beach_kid Again, another layout where I was just having so much fun! I just love my new style. It is fun, liberating, enjoyable. I don't do it for anyone BUT me! And I am loving it!

So if any of you have anything new, do show me! I would love to see it all!

1.10.05 POD Good Morning, From Hawaii

1705_photos_125 Good morning, from Hawaii.

Granted, this was taken THIS morning, which would be on 1.9.06, but I wanted it for today's photo. Just makes you wonder, how small we are and how big that ocean is. Just beautiful.

POD 1.8.06

1705_photos_072 Seriously, how cute is this kid? Dirt, and all, he is still all to adorable. Alex, just love you my boy!

POD 1.7.06 Finding Peace

1705_photos_130 Finding peace. It is a hard concept for me. I have so many things to do, so many people to please, so much STUFF.

So, today, I took a minute while we were at Waikiki Beach, sat down, and breathed. I don't know if in that moment God came to me and said, look, you just need to find some peace. Or if it was my guardian, or my mom. Or all. But I will. I will find this peace. I am already starting to do so, and hopefully will have everything intact for phase 1 very soon.

On another subject, can you believe that Paul, my wonderful DH, took this photo??? Yeppers! Man, I love this guy! He said that I looked so serene and beautiful. Gotta love a man who says that!

I feel...

I feel...

Ugh

Unrested (is that even a word?)

stressed

like i don't belong (this has to do totally with my move)

blessed to have my family

happy to be in hawaii

wish that i was here with all of my friends and family

excited about going to CHA and working the booth at Around the Block with Janelle.

Let down by the military. so tired of admin people not caring that they made a HUGE mistake and won't take care of it. A two month mistake, now costing us more in the thousands then we wanted to realize...ugh.

Proud of Paul for finally picking up the phone and taking care of this instead of just letting me deal with it. WOOHOO for him and finally becoming an adult in this manner (for those of you who know my DH, he hates CONFRENTATION).

tired of not ever having help when i need it.

happy that i have a wonderful best friend to count on

Busy days make for...

Just plain busy lives. Yesterday was the only day, or was it Monday, that I have completly rested since the beginnings of our move. Every single day since then and way way before then, I have been going here, calling this person, reaming that person, etc. And I miss it. I miss just laying down and enjoying the day, playing with my kids, hanging out with Paul, and, dare I say, scrap? Yep, I miss it.

And it's only going to get busier. With Paul going back to work in two weeks, my life will be taking him to work till we get our other car (hate having only one car and needing it), driving Brendan to his preschool (if we can find one), driving back home, having teachers over for Alex (at least we are hoping so, with the oh so many phone messages I leave for Early Intervention), going back to pick Brendan up, taking him to swim lessons (yes, you all hear me correctly), picking Paul up from work, and then, finally coming home. And I said I was a what? SAHM? I haven't been that in months, and I have more months to look forward to not being it again. And this schedule does not include play dates, MOPS, church activities, preschool and toddler reading time, and anything else that I will conjur up.

I have never, ever, in my life, been so busy. I know that this is only the beginning, but we are talking to a real homebody here. I love to stay at home, play games with my boys (enjoyed a great game of Chutes and Ladders today where Brendan kicked some serious mommy booty!), read them some books, curl up on the couch with Paul, and, oh, maybe scrap some? But I haven't seen that life since August and I don't think I plan on seeing it for another 18 years (especially if I will be having another one).

So, if my mind seems scattered, if I don't seem like I am all there, just remember this post. And you will know why.
